How can I link directly from my Canvas course to Rowland Medical Library e-resources?

All library resources that are accessed off-campus must travel through the proxy server. The proxy prefix allows users to authenticate their UMMC affiliation by logging in with their UMMC ID and password. The proxy prefix should be added to ensure links work properly when adding stable links to your Canvas course.
The proxy prefix is https://login.ummc.idm.oclc.org/login?url=
- Example: If an instructor wants to assign Chapter 287: Asthma of Harrison’s Internal Medicine textbook from AccessMedicine
- https://accessmedicine.mhmedical.com/content.aspx?bookid=3095§ionid=265455714 works on-campus only
- https://login.ummc.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://accessmedicine.mhmedical.com/content.aspx?bookid=3095§ionid=265455714 works off-campus and on-campus
- The prefix must be copied and pasted to the beginning of each URL, with special care that there are no extra spaces.
