What is interlibrary loan?

- The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Department assists library users in obtaining health resources that are not available at Rowland Medical Library.
- ILL services are available to current UMMC faculty, staff and students.
- Please check library holdings before submitting an interlibrary loan request.
- Delivery time for materials ranges from a few days to several weeks. Sufficient time should be allowed for receipt of items.
- Most document delivery is provided at no charge to affiliated users. Fees may be assessed by lenders for book loans.
Interlibrary loan requests are made by completing an Interlibrary Loan Borrowing Request Form.
