Please use the Book/Journal Purchase Request Form to recommend book or journal title for Rowland Medical Library's collection.
Faculty, staff and student recommendations for acquisitions of library materials receive priority. Materials are purchased throughout the year, and requests may be made at any time during the year. New books for class reserve should be requested four to six weeks before the class begins.
When submitting several recommendations at the same time, items should be identified according to priority status for purchase. If funds are not available, all recommendations are held until new appropriations are received. Requestors are notified when materials cannot be purchased and if there is a long delay in acquiring a particular item.
Complete a separate Book/Journal Purchase Request for each title.
