Rowland Medical Library provides UMMC affiliates access to multiple options in the point-of-care resource category. VisualDx is a point-of-care resource containing images and a differential diagnosis search feature. It is designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy, aid therapeutic decisions, and improve patient safety. Features include:
- large medical image library
- skin of color atlas
- smart search for chief complaints, diagnoses, and drug reactions
- custom patient-specific differential diagnosis builder
- the ability to earn CME with every search
